Environmentally Responsible Materials

EXHIB-IT! is printing our way to a greener future.

Printing solutions have, over the years, been weighed down with chemicals and non-recyclable materials and substrates that would make even Mother Nature not too happy if we just threw them away in the local dump. Between inks, papers and laminates there really has not been a safer alternative for our profession – until now.

We have moved toward a process of safer print alternatives and solutions.

Green & Sustainable Materials

Valeron Banner – Our banners are constructed from low-density polyethylene and they are 100% recyclable.

Aqua Vinyl – Our Aqua Vinyl Overlays are water resistant and made from recycled content (wrpp36).

Satin Poster Papers – Our Satin Poster Papers are *PEFC certified substrates.

*PEFC is the largest worldwide organization that states that the paper mills that make our papers acquire their base stock from renewable sources.

Aluminum Extrusions:
We all know aluminum is recyclable, but Eco-Systems aluminum extrusions are made from up to 70% recycled aluminum! These lightweight recycled aluminum extrusions offer a modern look and are easy to reconfigure for different exhibit venues.

Bamboo Plywood:

Eco-systems uses bamboo plywood for a warm display atmosphere with a low impact on the environment. Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource, is made from 100% rapidly renewable bamboo, harvested every 7 years. And as an added bonus, we use adhesives that are not only strong, but emission free!

Sorghum Board: Sorghum Board is another way that EXHIB-IT! and Eco-systems bring you environmentally friendly exhibiting solutions. Sorghum is grown all over the world as a food source and stalks are usually burned or discarded in landfills. By using sorghum board for display materials, it is removed from the waste stream, reducing air pollution and landfill space.
Exhibit Graphics: Water bottles and soda bottles don’t look very good in the landfill…but can be recycled into beautiful trade show graphics! Eco-Systems from EXHIB-IT! offers high impact graphics with low impact on the environment with a variety of options that are recycled, recyclable, or made from recycled soda bottles.

Shipping Cases: EXHIB-IT! offers Eco-systems shipping cases for your trade show display which are both recycled and recyclable. Like traditional casing, are durable and perfect for shipping and storage of your display materials.
Bio Carpet: For comfort and class in your trade show booth use bio carpet from EXHIB-IT! Made from polymer fibers from polylactic acid, these carpet squares are and completely biodegradable at the end of their service lives.

Eco-Fi: Looking for a “green” alternative to traditional trade show display fabric panels? Eco-Fi is a high-quality, Velcro compatible polyester fiber made from 100% recycles soda bottles.
Stains and Finishes: Stains and finishes add the finishing touch to your trade show display. Eco-Systems’ stains and finishes are water-based, low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound), and VOC Free. These eco-friendly stain, paint, and finishing products are low or no emitting treatments for minimal impact on the environment.

LED Lighting: Lighting is an essential part of every trade show display. Get the attention you need, without the high impact on the environment. Our LED lights are 4 times more energy efficient than a regular incandescent light bulb and last 10 times longer.
GreenCore: GreenCore is a bio-degradable eco-friendly alternative to Sintra. Made from FSC certified wood rather than PVC, it offers a 2-sided printable surface available in 1/8" and 1/4" thicknesses.

Eco-Glass: Clear plexi glass adds a high end look to any trade show exhibit. EXHIB-IT!’s EcoSystem line of display products features eco-glass, an environmentally friendly alternative to plexi glass made from 100% recycled soda bottles. Eco-Glass is available in 1/8" and 1/4" thickness.
