Meet our Founder DJ Heckes

DJ Heckes, owner and CEO of EXHIB-IT! Tradeshow Marketing Experts and published author of full BRAIN Marketing, is truly passionate about two things: her clients and marketing.

EXHIB-IT! is a General Services Administration & Woman-owned small business located in Albuquerque, NM. DJ Heckes founded EXHIB-IT! for the purpose of providing quality products, exhibit marketing and design services to federal agencies and commercial enterprises. As a small business leader in her field, DJ is active in several chambers of commerce in New Mexico and Texas.

"Small business is about people. That’s the lifeblood of EXHIB-IT! and New Mexico," DJ Heckes said. "We live and breathe the success of every customer at EXHIB-IT! Our core business involves relating to the person and their total tradeshow needs."

DJ’s book, full BRAIN Marketing-for the small business, discusses how, if done properly, marketing can be accomplished more easily and with a far greater rate of success. The book explores and uncovers some of the ways to tie in traditional, digital and social media marketing to lead a business to success, while avoiding unnecessary mistakes, obstacles and failures. With today’s hypercompetitive business market, it is even more important than ever before to be a forward thinker and a visionary leader in marketing for one’s business.

DJ believes in giving back to show leadership and demonstrate the positive impact small businesses can have on the ever-expanding communities in New Mexico.

DJ is frequently invited to speak at conferences throughout the USA. She is also an active member of National Association of Women Business Owners, Women’s Business Council Southwest, Women in Communication, New Mexico American Marketing Association, Albuquerque Economic Development, Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Albuquerque Independent Business Alliance.
